Rotary de Tolosa - Teen Track
On May 2nd, Wilde Wealth SLO is sponsoring Rotary’s Annual Teen Track program at San Luis Obispo, High School. Back when Rob's kids, James and Malia, were in elementary school and middle school, Rob was an assistant coach with the Los Osos ‘Roo Rats (named after an endangered species in the area).
We are now proud to be the main sponsor for the event, creating a meet for schools from across the central coast. Robert will be the Clerk of the Course, organizing the field and keeping the meet on time. James will be working with Rob as James looks to bring this meet to his own Rotary in Westlake Village.

Adding Dividends to Your Donations
Starting May 1st, we will begin our “Adding Dividends to Your Donations” programs for 2026. From May 1 through August 31st we will be collecting single use toiletries to be donated to Community Action Partnership San Luis Obispo (CAPSLO.org).
CAPLSO has programs that support the needy in our community with shelter, healthcare, energy efficiency, veterans, seniors and families in our community.
We are collecting the little toiletries you find at hotels, toothbrushes and toothpaste your dentist gives you at your cleaning, the amenity kits you sometimes get on long flights or anything else like that. We are grateful for the donations of full bottles and female hygiene products people have donated as well.
Last year we set a goal of 1000 items and reached that number in only three months. We extended the goal to 1250, collected over 1300 items and added a $1,250 donation as the dividend to your donations.
This year we are extending our goal to 1500 items, and we will add one dollar to each item donated. You can drop items at our office during normal office hours.
Last year, Rotary de Tolosa and Gymnazo of San Luis Obispo both held collection points for us, each collecting over 300 items. If your business or organization would like to host a pickup spot, let us know and we will bring a basket to your office and pick up items as needed.

Rotary De Tolosa
On March 28th, we were proud to sponsor Demitri Martin for Rotary De Tolosa’s fundraiser. In addition to sponsoring the event itself, we hosted a social at our office before the event. We provided all the food and beverages for the event and Rotary asked for a small donation, raising another $600 for their children’s charities.
Regional President, Mike Dutra, and his wife Cindy joined us. His region encompasses both our San Luis Obispo Rotary de Tolosa, and our Westlake Village Rotary groups.

Wilde Wealth in SLO is continuing as Stage Sponsor for Concerts in the Plaza. Robert attended the meeting where the final bands were voted on. This year is the 30th anniversary of Concerts in the Plaza, so some of the favorite bands from the past 30 years will be invited back for another concert. Two of the Fridays will be Downtown Block Parties! More details to come.
Tickets are still on sale for Demetri Martin at the PAC on March 28th. We will be hosting a mixer for Rotary De Tolosa and other concert attendees before the event. For tickets to the show, check out the PACSLO website. If you have tickets and would like to join us beforehand, email SLO@WildeWealth.com and we will give you the details. Space is limited and a donation to Rotary De Tolosa is preferred.

Once again, Wilde Wealth SLO is proud to support Rotary De Tolosa’s fundraiser at the Performing Arts Center San Luis Obispo. This year, comedian Demetri Martin will headline the event on Saturday, March 28th. Tickets are on sale now at the PACSLO websiteand all proceeds go towards various youth charities through Rotary De Tolosa.

2025
2025 allowed us to increase and improve what we give back to our community. Our “Adding Dividends to your Donations” program collected over $1200 donations to Pacific Wildlife Care, which we matched with a $1000 donation of our own.
We blew past our goal to collect 1000 individual toiletries for Community Action Partnership, San Luis Obispo (CAPSLO) in only three months, allowing us to increase that goal to 1250 for our “Dividend Match”. In all, over 1350 toiletries were collected and donated and we matched that with a check for $1250. We would like to thank Gymnazo and Rotary De Tolosa for asking their members and accepting donations at their locations to help us reach that goal!
Gymnazo has an annual Food Drive for the Food Bank of San Luis Obispo. They collected over $13,000 from their members for the Food Bank of San Luis Obispo and we were happy to donate to support them in that goal.
We sponsored more community events in 2025. We continued our normal Concerts in the Plaza - Stage Sponsorship, Rotary De Tolosa’s Concert at the PAC, and Community Foundation’s Advisors Luncheon. We were happy to add CAPSLO’s 60th Anniversary Celebration Concert, Rotary de Tolosa’s Teen Track and their Holiday Mixer to our list this year.
We once again sponsored and announced the Downtown SLO’s Holiday Parade sponsored the Woods Humane Society float, and added the sponsorship of Campfire’s parade float.
2026
For 2026, we hope to expand again. Our “Adding Dividends to your Donations” program will continue. We have already started collecting toiletries for CAPSLO again (over 150 collected so far) and used eyeglasses for Eyecare International.
We are looking to expand the number of non-profit floats we sponsor for the Holiday Parade. If you are a part of an organization that does or would like to participate, let us know!

"Adding Dividends to Your Donations"
We are a little bit overwhelmed by the response for our community. We currently have 942 toiletries collected, plus a few small unopend kits from Premium class flights.
Being this close to our goal, we have decided to extend in. Now through the end of August, our goal is 1250 toiletries that we will match $1 for each donation upto $1250!!!
We are so grateful for the support Rotary de Tolosa (262) and Gymnazo (350) members have given us. We also want to thank our clients that brought in bags of toiletries to their reviews and our July Pizza Club in SLO. We will contine to collect until August 31st at all our office locations and at Gymnazo and Rotary! Thank you Gymnazo and Rotary de Telosa!
We need about 300 more to reach our NEW GOAL of 1250 toiletries to be donated to Community Action Partnership of San Luis Obispo * (CAPSLO) and the various programs they support across the county. Wilde Wealth - 805 will add $1 for each toiletry collected, up to $1250.
Desired items include soaps, shampoos, conditioner, lotions and other items from hotels. Toothbrushes, travel toothpastes, dental floss and other items from your trip to the dentist are great as well.
CAPSLO serves our community with Child, Youth and Family programs, programs for Seniors, Veterans, Health and Prevention, Home and Energy programs, in addition to the 40 Prado Homeless Services Center. These services are provided for people in need throughout our community.
